I need a lawyer.
Sandra told the reverend at the refugee camp all about our predicament and guess what? He knows a lawyer who can help us get the paperwork,. Isn't that a stroke of luck? She also urges me to think about her in those conditions in the refugee camp. Poor love!

I gave her a massage?
Most scammers send the same messages (or massages in this case) to lots of people. They are cut and paste ones that will be used over and over by lots of different scammers.You can tell them anything you like and they either don't bother reading it or don't understand what on earth you are on about. Their replies are always very non specific and they rarely answer questions or make reference to what you tell them. You have to be very pushy to get a proper response from them. Anyway, she doesn't care that Hugh is a tranny. Woo hoo! I stll don't remember giving her a massage though.

Well Sandra showed absolutely no sympathy for the loss of my dear wife. She didn't even mention it. How rude! I think I will have to take her to task over that. She now wants me to email the Standard Bank of London (which funnily enough is an African Bank) Now let's have a look at this. The first email contact is standad, not standard and is an AOL address. Because of course, all banks use AOL for their business emails!! A quick search of both phone numbers show they are linked to scammers. I think I will have to email this Mr Keith Thompson and see what he has to say.

Youth In Asia
After Sandra's last email and her plea for me to help her get her hands on her late fathers millions, I thought I should reply. I decided to completely ignore everything she said about the money and tell her about my dead wife instead. Heads up to Symon for the Youth in Asia pun! I wish I could take the credit for that one but I can't! It was far too good not to use :)

Anyway my dear, if we are to look towards developing a relationship together, one that is of mutual benefit, we really do need to know more about each other. As humans, we are complex beings and it is of utmost importance that we are honest and open with each other about everything.
As I told you, my wife died 5 years ago in a tragic accident. We were teenage sweethearts and barely spent a day apart. She understood all my strange quirks and differences but loved me all the same. We both had a keen interest in charitable work and together we set up a charity for wayward teenagers in Thailand called Youth In Asia. The aim of the charity was to help get these naughty, naughty children back on the straight and narrow by offering them opportunities to turn their lives around. This involved counselling, group activities and voluntary work. If all this failed and they continued to get into trouble and break the law then at the request of the authorities, we used the funds the send them to Dignitas.
We had been working with this one particular girl who was a persistent offender. She got up to all sorts, burglaries, muggings, assaults, you name it, she'd done it. She was a complete nightmare! We had tried everything to help her but she had no intention of mending her ways. The courts put an order in place and she was to sent to Dignitas. My darling wife Susan was to accompany the girl to ensure that everything went smoothly. The journey there went without a hitch and they arrived at Dignitas at the planned time. Sue took the young girl to the waiting room and went to get her booked in. They were then showed to a room and told to make themselves comfortable as there was a bit of a wait due to high numbers of people booked in that day. It had been quite a long and tiring journey so Sue laid on the bed and must have fallen asleep. Now we can only guess as to what happened next as there is no real way of knowing.
The first I knew that anything was amiss was a phone call in broken English with a heavy German accent enquiring if I was the husband of Susan Jorgan. I replied that I was and asked if there was a problem. What she said next came as a complete shock to me. Apparently, Susan had woken up and paid a visit to the little girls room to freshen up a bit after her nap. Whilst she was in the bathroom, the doctor had come in with a glass of water containing the barbiturates with instructions for the teenage girl to lay on the bed and consume the drink all in one go. He was then suddenly called away to an emergency, leaving the glass on a cabinet next to the bed. Now this is where we can only guess as to what happened next. It looks likely that the girl used her sudden solitude to make a run for it and escape from the building and to freedom. Susan must have returned from the bathroom to an empty room, assuming the girl had gone somewhere with the doctor. Probably feeling thirsty after the journey and subsequent sleep, she must have drunk the glass that looked like pure water but contained the barbiturates. She was found sat in a chair, stone cold dead by the doctor on his return.
Of course they were most apologetic but that doesn't make up for the fact that my beloved Susan was now dead. As for the girl, she was last seen getting arrested for forcing cats to jump on trampolines dressed as the Pope whilst playing tiny pianos. I can't stand animal abuse can you? The charity no longer exists as it was a constant reminder of what I had lost.
So Sandra, I am now all alone. I loved my Susan dearly but it's now time to move on. I want to know all about you, what your hobbies are, what music you like and if you think you could ever love a sad, lonely man like me.

Wow! She doesn't waste any time does our Sandra. She is straight in for the kill! I have never corresponded with this type of scammer before, one with a massive inheritance from a dead parent who needs me to help get it transferred. Of course, I get my cut for helping and the love of a good woman to boot! The grammar and spelling are pretty atrocious so how anyone could possibly fall for it I will never know. She suggests I add her on Facebook! I checked out her profile and she has 1 friend!!! Please don't add her as I obviously don't want the man behind the scam to get wind of this.

When my late father was alive he deposited some amount of money in a leading bank in Europe which he used my name as the next of kin. the amount in question is $5.7( Five Million Seven Hundred Thousand US Dollars)

Oh my dear, dear girl. Your message made me cry buckets of tears, real, salty, liquid emotion. Tears spilled down my cheeks and onto my silky top, leaving small stains of sorrow wherever they fell.
What an awful situation you are in. To loose all your family in such a brutal way. Thank goodness for school eh? You get an education and it saved your life. That's a bit of a win win situation don't you think? I am so glad you survived so that our paths could cross and we can bring happiness to each other.
Let me tell you a bit about myself. I am 45 and live in England. I live alone. I was married but my wife was killed in a terrible accident some 5 years ago. I will tell you more about what happened when we know each other better. It's a very sad tale and I am sure you will offer me some comfort when I tell you. Like you, I am an only child and both my parents are sadly dead. See, we have so much in common already! Death really is universally uniting don't you think?

It took a couple of days for Sandra to reply but it was worth the wait. Poor poor Sandra! Her parents were killed whilst she was at school and as she was her parents only 'issue' she is all alone in the world. She now resides in a refugee camp in Senegal. It's amazing that they have internet access there!!!

I am more than happy to read your response to my mail, how do you do? I hope all is well with you? As I said earlier, I really have a good relationship with you and I have a special reason why I decided to contact you because of the urgency of my situation here.
I am writing this letter to you with tears in my eyes and great sorrow in my heart, My name is Miss Sandra E. Edgar, I'm single and I've never been married, I am from Sudan in East Africa, I am 25 years old and 5ft8in height, weight 58 kg.
The only daughter of the late father Dr Maxwell Col. Edgard who is the director general industrial (EDGAR INDUSTRIAL COMPANY LTD) in Khartoum, the capital of the economy of my country (Sudan)
My late father was an importer and exporter of many types of businesses and also a very close friend of the former head of state before the rebels attacked our house one morning and killed my mother and father in cold blood.
I escaped death because I was at school when the rebels attacked our house. I was the only issue of my late parents, I have no brother, no sister.
As it is now I only problem survivor of my family, because I was not home when the rebel attack, I was in school. So I managed to make my way.
Earlier I was living in a refugee camp in Darfur to Chad in July 2007, at a time there was a division and sending some of the refugees due to the overcrowding of people in Chad, i was taken to Senegal in West Africa August 10, 2008, where I am currently residing in the refugee camp N'Dioum.
I am constrained to contact you because of the situation I was in, I suffer pain in this camp and I really need to have someone by my side to encourage me.
I'm ready to move out of this country.
